THE Canadian Car and Foundry Company of Ontario has been engaged in the construction of aeroplanes for some years, having held the exclusive export licence for all the recent Grumman designs, and also being concerned with the production of British types in Canada. The FDB1 is, however, the company's first original type. It has been designed by Michael Gregor.
