•New Droplet Tracking Velocimetry (DTV) post-process is developed for complex dispersed phase (poly-dispersed & non-spherical) •Our DTV post-process is associated with dedicated calibration to determine the Apparent Depth of Field of each droplet class •DTV results reveal that this spray has a low radial dispersion combined with strong droplet turbulence anisotropy •Droplet sizes strongly influence their dynamics: velocities and droplet sizes must effectively be measured simultaneously •For droplet turbulence, estimated Cµ values (used in RANS models) are lower than those typically observed
