Corrigendum to “Environmental contaminants and human health in the Canadian Arctic” (Sci.... The authors regret that in the above published article errors appeared within some of the Tables and also within the text. These errors are now corrected below: 1. The footnote 2 in Table 4.2.1 ( Page 5184 ) should read as follows:</P>2 Armstrong et al., 2007 (Note — as individual lipid measurements were not available in this study the individual wet weight concentrations were divided by the mean total lipid concentration in the baseline study to derive this lipid adjusted data. Wet weight data are available in Van Oostdam et al., 2009). 2. The corrected Table 4.6.1 . appears below:</P>3. The corrected Table 4.6.2 . appears below:</P>4. Please find the correct text below for section: 4.6.1 PCB tissue levels and guidelines ( Page 5197 )</P>The Health Canada (1986) guideline for PCBs lists a Level of Concern and a Level of Action when concentrations are greater than 5 μg/L in the blood of pregnant women. Table 4.6.1 summarizes the blood guideline exceedances for PCBs (as Aroclor 1260) in mothers from the Inuvik region (NWT), Nunavut, and the Nunavik region (northern Quebec).
