The as-prepared Ni/La-Al O catalyst was modified by the alkaline 2 3 2 3 Steam reforming promoters M(Na, K) in order to inhibit carbon deposition. The physicochemical properties of these catalysts were Metal sintering characterized by Nitrogen physisorption, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Infrared spectro- Carbon deposition scopy, Temperature programmed reduction/desorption, Scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray Alkaline promoters spectroscopy.
