A matrix model for the population dynamics and vertical distribution of weed seedbanks Following the Leslie and Markov matrices, a matrix model was developed to define the weed seedbank population dynamic and its vertical distribution. The model predicts the stable age and vertical distribution of seeds. Data on Avena sterilis (winter wild oat) was used to show the application of the model. Abstract

Following the Leslie and Markov matrices, a matrix model was developed to define the weed seedbank population dynamic and its vertical distribution.
