Hannes Bajohr received his doctoral degree from Columbia University, New York, with a dissertation on Hans Blumenberg’s theory of language. His research interests are theories of the digital and digital aesthetics, German twentieth-century philosophy with a focus on phenomenology and philosophical anthropology, as well as political theory. He is a Junior Fellow at the Collegium Helveticum, the joint Institute for Advanced Studies of the ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, and the Zurich University of the Arts, with a project on models of AI authorship. Recent publications include: Schreibenlassen: Texte zur Literatur im Digitalen (August Verlag, 2022); Hans Blumenberg at 101, a special issue of New German Critique 49: 1 (2022, as editor); and Digitale Literatur II (edition text+kritik, 2021, as co-editor with Annette Gilbert). He is also an author of digital literature, most recently Blanks: Word Processing (Counterpath Press, 2022). Brain Glover is Assistant Professor of English at East Carolina University. He specialises in the history of the novel, with special attention to eighteenth-century Britain and media theory. His publications have appeared in SEL: Studies in English Literature 1500–1900, Critique, Southern Cultures,and Green Letters.
