In this issue of The New Soundtrack we welcome contributions from two new Associate Editors, Nessa Johnston and Philippa Lovatt. Nessa is based at Edge Hill University, and her research areas include film sound, independent cinema and critical production studies. Philippa Lovatt is based at the University of Stirling. Her research focuses on sound's relationship to memory and history, and she is currently working on a monograph about sound design and the ethics of listening. We welcome both and their contributions to the journal.
