About the Contributors Roger Dalrymple is Professor of Education at Oxford Brookes University where he is currently supervising doctoral projects on literary education, literacy, and writing development. His recent publications include a chapter in the collaborative volume The New Newbolt Report (Routledge, 2021) and the monograph Crippen: A Crime Sensation in Memory and Modernity (Boydell Press, 2020). Andrew Green is Deputy Director of Research in the Global Lives Research Centre at Brunel University London. His research interests include English education, creative writing and Literature and Education. His most recent publications are The New Newbolt Report: One Hundred Years of the Teaching of English in England (Routledge, 2022), ‘Loose Can(n)on: Literary Tradition in Daljit Nagra’s British Museum’ (English in Education), ‘Death in a Literary Context’ (Clues: a Journal of Detection) and ‘Playing at Murder: The collaborative works of members of the Detection Club’ (Crime Fiction Studies). He is General Editor of the Routledge Literature and Education book series. Nick Henck is a professor in the Faculty of Law at Keio University, Tokyo. He holds a D.
