The Fozu tong ji 佛祖統紀 (Chronicle of the Bud dhas and Patriarchs), com piled by the Chi nese monk Zhipan 志磐 (ca. 1220–75), is an ency clo pe dic work in fifty-four rolls (juan 卷) com piled between 1258 and 1269.
