Abstract
“ Y E A R N I N G V O I D A N D I n f i n i t e P o t e n t i a l ” : O n l i n e S l a s h F a n d o m a s Q u e e r F e m a l e S p a c e A l e x i s L o t h i a n , K r i s t i n a B u s s e , R o b i n A n n e R e i d To me, slash is about cracks and crevices in a text, a yearning void in both the te x t and the reader. So space is a v a c u u m —so m e th in g th a t isn 't there but could be. But in th e larger term s o f co m m u n ity, culture, politics, space is less ab ou t vacuum and m ore about po tential.The slash space, to me, is rem arkable in its fecundity.
