Special announcement The American Association of Workers for Children, Inc., the American Branch of the International Association of Workers for Maladjusted Children is pleased to announce that, jointly with the American Orthopsychiatric Association, Inc., it will sponsor two sessions for child care workers and allied personnel at the 1973 AOA Meetings in New York City on Thursday, May 31, 1973. A round table discussion from 2--5 p.m. will include leaders in the field from Canada and France as well as throughout the United States. The 8--10 p.m. session will provide for a discussion of the implications of current programs in Canada and Europe for the development of the child care profession in the United States, as well as how the American Association of Workers for Children may be able to assist. There will also be a pre-conference workshop on "The Child Care Worker as a Generalist" held on Monday afternoon and evening, May 28, and Tuesday morning, May 29 under AOA auspices.
