Sterling, Va. : Stylus Publishing , 2004 . xiv + 272 pages. ISBN 1‐57922‐047‐9 . $24.95 (paper) . Parts I and II explore the vision behind the workshop and how it actually unfolds; Part III includes reflections from several workshop participants; and Part IV explores faculty development in a more comprehensive fashion, illustrated by cases from a variety of academic disciplines. As the editors note, continued dialogue with workshop participants over the years “reaffirms our belief that the Workshop promotes more than a few tips about teaching; that it inspires individuals to think about broader issues concerning teaching and learning” (205).
