Jenkins-London freundlidherweise auf zwei bedauerliche Versehen aufmerksam, die es zun chst zu berichtigen gilt. 1. S. 648/9 hei t es dort: ,,... Johannes Tzimiskes w re durch seine Heirat mit Theodora, der Tochter des Kaisers Romanos II., der Schwager der angeblichen j ngeren Tochter des Romanos II., nicht aber ihr Oheim oder auch ihr Vetter geworden." Johannes Tzimiskes w re indesseh, da Theodora nicht die Tochter, sondern die Schwester des Kaisers Romanos II war, in der Tat der Oheim einer j ngeren Tochter Theophano des Kaisers Romanos II. geworden, wenn eine solche existiert h tte. Dieses Argument ist also aus meinen Erw gungen zu streichen. An der brigen Beweisf hrung ndert sich dadurch nichts. - 2. hei t, es S. 651, A 17, es sei wahrscheinlich ein Irrtum yon M. Uhlirz, wenn sie Michael deri Sohn des Sohnes und Mitkaisers des Romanos L, Nikephoros, als Mitk iser anspreche, da yon seiner Erhebung in der Continuatio Theophanis, welche die dynastischen Einzelheiten sorgf ltig verzeichne, nirgends die Rede sei.
