Senderdaten, Meßanordnung und Versuchsaufbau The Effect of Radar on Cardiac Pacemakers I. Radar Facility and Experimental Methods Aus der Sektion für Cardiologie und Angiologie im Zentrum für Innere Medizin und Kinderheilkunde (Leitung: Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. M. Stauch) und der Abteilung für Experimentelle Physik II (Leitung: Prof. Dr. rer. nat. W. Pechhold) der Universität Ulm sowie der AEG-Telefunken, Ulm An 10 synchronisierbaren Herzschrittmachern wurden im Strahlungsfeld der SRE-LL-1 Mittelbereichsradaranlage (Sendefrequenz 1,3 GHz) vergleichende Störanfälligkeitsmessungen in Luft, Fett und Kochsalzlösung durchgeführt. Dabei ergab sich, daß nur Untersuchungen in Fett oder Luft mit an die Sendefrequenz angepaßter Elektrodenlänge bei empfindlichster Orientierung von Schrittmacher und Elektrode die ,,worst case" Situation nach Implantation erfassen. Die Ergebnisse stimmen überein mit den bekannten dielektrischen Eigenschaften der verschiedenen Medien bei hohen Frequenzen.
