Biomedizinische Technik Band 25 Heft 6/1980 Echosimulator Biomed. Technik 25(1980), 163-166 R. Reuter H. G. Trier R.-D. Lepper Der »ECHOSIMULATOR«, ein Funktionsgenerator zur Messung relevanter Eigenschaften von Ultraschalldiagnostik-Geräten The «Echosimulator«, a Function Generator for Measuring the Characteristics of Ultrasonic Diagnostic Equipment Aus dem klinischen Institut für experimentelle Ophthalmologie der Universität Bonn (Direktor: Prof. Dr. E. Weigelin) Schlüsselwörter: Ultraschall-Diagnostik, A-, B-, M-Geräte, Qualitätskontrolle, Kalibrierung, optimiertes Testsignal. Key-words: Diagnostic Ultrasound, A-, B-, M-mode Equipment, Quality Assurance, Calibration, Optimized Test Signal. Ultrasonic pulse-echo diagnostic equipment in A-, B- and M-mode needs adequate functional testing procedures to maintain examination-parameters optimized and reproducible, and to allow the evaluation of findings of different equipments (quality assurance). For a significant characterization of these systems, both test reflectors and electrical test signals are necessary. For these purposes a special function
