96 Syntax and Meaning. Studies in Hebrew Syntax and Biblical Exegesis by C. J. LABUSCHAGNE, C. VAN LEEUWEN, M. J. MULDER, H. A. BRONGERS, B. JONGELING, L. DEQUEKER, P. A. H. DE BOER (Oudtestamentische Studien XVIII), E. J. Brill, Leiden 1973, 213 pp., cloth f 72,-, for sub- scribers f 56,- (This volume is chiefly devoted to syntactical studies on the use of Hebrew particles, but DEQUEKER'S paper on 'The Saints of the Most High in Qumran and Daniel' (pp. 108-187) cannot be passed without mention in this Journal.
