72 UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: FEDERAL LAW NO. 10, 1992, ISSUING THE LAW OF PROOF IN CIVIL AND COMMERCIAL TRANSACTIONS We, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the State of the United Arab Emirates: - in cognisance of the Provisional Constitution; - and of the Federal Law No. 1 of 1972 regarding the capacities of ministries and the powers of ministers, and the amendment laws thereof; - and of the Federal Law No. 10 of 1973 concerning the Federal Supreme Court and the amendment laws thereof; - and of the Federal Law No. 6 of 1978 concerning the establishment of Federal Courts and the transferral thereto of the jurisdiction of local legal judicial institutions of certain Emirates, and the amendment laws thereof; - and of the Law of Civil Transactions issued in the Federal Law No. 5 of 1985 and the amendment laws thereof; - and on the basis of what is presented by the Minister of Justice, and with the agreement of the Council of Ministers, and ratification by the Federal Supreme Council; Have issued the following law: First Article: This Law shall be applicable in matters of proof in civil and commercial transactions and all other
