Silometopus acutus is previously recorded from southern Finland as Silometopus incurvatus (non O.P.-Cambridge) by Hack- man (1955) and Palmgren (1976). Carapace dark brown with black saddle marking and radiating striae. Sternum blackish brown. Legs yellowish brown.
