Trichodorus Spp. (Nematoda: Trichodoridae) From Tunisia and Nicaragua TRICHODORUS SPP. (NEMATODA: TRICHODORIDAE) FROM TUNISIA AND NICARAGUA BY M. RAFIQ SIDDIQI 1) Rothamsted Experimental Station, Harpenden, Herts., England Trichodorus tunisiensis n. sp. found around roots of Sesbania sp. in Teboulba, Tunisia has a distinct ventral overlap of the oesophageal base over the intestine. It is close to T. teres Hooper, 1962, from which it differs in the shape and size of the vaginal sclerotization, presence of sperma- thecae and shape of the female caudal extremity. Males and females of T. nanus Allen, 1957, and T. minor Colbran, 1956, have been found in Tunisia and Nicaragua respectively. A new species of Trichodorus, T'. turzi.rien.ri.r n. sp. was found in soil around roots of Sesbania sp. heavily infested with root-knot nematode from Teboulba, Tunisia. Males and females of T. nanus Allen, 1957, were also found in Tunisia from vine soils, and T. minor Colbran, 1956, was found from several localities in Nicaragua. TRICHODORUS TUNISIENSIS N. SP.
