Or must things get worse (technologically more organized) before they get better? Concerning the possibility of differentiated attacks on lingering principles, can notions of "strategy" and "affirmation" be developed that are directive without being dialectical? Of course, all these questions must also be brought into the context of the relation of aletheological freedom and concrete freedom conceived in terms of access to food, shelter, water, education, and so on. That is, the question to be asked is still, What is the relation of the dominance of a principle over certain possibilities of thinking and acting to the dominance of certain classes of people over others? Such a question then refers to the relation of meta- physics and ideology: how does the protection of a first principle through certain practices of reading and writing relate to the protection of material conditions of exploitation by certain other practices of reading and writing?
