217 SYNERGETIC PERCEPTION John Derrickson McCurdy I see things out there in the world with my two eyes, and those same things I touch with both hands. This thing here which I hold in my right hand I can also touch with my left hand, and this very same thing I can see with my right eye and also with my left. The eyeball too is something which my hands can touch, and the hands which touch the eye can touch each other. My hands are touching tangibles which are also visible. My hands are seen through my eyes, which are seeing tangibles. And my eyes see themselves, when I look in the mirror. If we interrogate these everyday phenomena, we can understand imagination and sense perception. When perception does its work, the world becomes an imaginal reality.
