Deyermond in the Edad media, xx + 570 pp., provides short introductions and impressive bibliographies to R.'s selection of key passages from critics. P. Sainz Rodriguez selects an Antologia de la literatura espiritual espanola, I, Edad Media, M, Univ. Pontificia de Sala manca, Fundacion Universitaria Espanola, 789 pp., and M. J. Lacarra Ducay looks at La cuentlstica medieval en Espana: los origenes, Zaragoza, Univ., 217 pp. E. Oyola studies, somewhat superficially, Los pecados capitales en la literatura medieval espanola, B, Puvill, 1979, 273 pp., with special reference to Berceo, LBA, La Celestina. H. Goldberg, 'The literary portrait of the child in Castilian medieval literature' , KRQ, 27: I 1-27, is not surprised
