Göttingen: Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, 1987. 286 pp. The Dillhey-Jahrbuch is devoted more to the broad philosophical-historical field of human scientific topics pioneered by its namesake than to a narrow focus on Dilthey himself. Like the earlier volumes, the most recent install- ment contains material important to Dilthey research, i.e., Dilthey's lectures on the psychological underpinning of pedagogy (1883-93), and reviews and book notes of the Dilthey literature (earlier volumes contained extensive bibliographies), but its focus is a group of essays which address Heidegger's development of the concepts of facticity and historicity and Dilthey's influ- ence on this conceptual development.
