Fomin has given a very useful biblio- and bio-bibliographical guide to the study of Russian literature from 1736 to 1932. A bibliography of post-revolutionary periodical literature about literature and art is to be found in Mme Muratova's work. N. Martianov has compiled a handy, though far from complete, list of books 'on Russia and by Russians' published and still available in the United States. A very useful bibliography of French transla­ tions of Russian imaginative literature has been drawn up by V. Boutchik. M. Shtokmar has given for the first time a biblio­ graphy of works about versification. It includes also non­ Russian works. Useful addenda to it will be found in R. Yakob­ son's review inS, xiii, 2-3.
