ISBN 2-86515-114-10. Soft cover. Price FF 200.00 (approx. US$ 32.00). This welcome catalogue, above anything else, lls an annoying gap that existed until now, and will, therefore, surely make life easier, mainly for the European decapologists. It constitutes a sweepingly detailed inventory of all information available to date, which, as the author notes, was really dispersed in thousands of publications on the decapod crustaceans of the area (25-90 ° N 35 ° W-60 ° E). The book also constitutes the rst decapod catalogue of the area on a professional level. On a technical level, it is adequately satisfactory. The set-out of the material has been well taken care of, and therefore the reader is facilitated very much in extracting the information requested by him or her. The quoting of an “extended abstract” is very useful for the English-speaking readers, who in this way can be easily informed about the whole content
