The document, The Global Island: Ireland’s Foreign Policy for a Changing World , was the result of a year-long process of reflection, research and analysis and a wide-ranging process of consultation and engagement. It offers a progressive and forward-looking vision of Ireland’s foreign policy and Ireland’s place in the world. Abstract
