We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Phenomenological Psychology now has online submission only, using Editorial Manager (EM), an online submission and peer review tracking system which is currently used worldwide by over 3,000 journals. Via the EM website for the Journal at www.editorialmanager.com/jppbrill , authors are guided step-by-step through the submission process. The system automatically converts source files to a single pdf that is then used in the peer-review process. All correspondence between editors, authors, and reviewers proceeds via EM. In addition to this, the Journal of Phenomenological Psychology now offers ‘Advance’, an option to establish a temporary online ‘home’ for those journal articles that are just fit-to-publish but cannot yet be assigned to a journal issue or volume. The final journal article contains a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) which for Advance is included in the running headers. Upon completion of an issue, the typesetter will redo the headers and paginate the piece. Referring to an Advance publication (in another journal article, thesis, book, or on a website) needs to be done by mentioning the DOI. Followed by ‘in press’ or ‘forthcoming’. For the copyright line, the year of publication online will be leading. We are confident that these developments will meet the wishes of our authors, as EM greatly facilitates the process of submission, peer review and final publication, while Advance allows reduced publication time and early citation via DOI. We invite you to register for EM online at www.editorialmanager.com/jppbrill and visit brill.nl/jpp .
