This second/ third cent. papyrus, officially known as Papyrus Barcinonensis, inv. n° 3, contains-with many smaller and greater lacunae-the Septuagint text of 2 Chron. xxix 32 -;!yE've,7o - 35 ÓÀoxiXu't'6:>ae(ùe;[; xxx 2 £povxe4aaTo - 5 Compared with A. E. BROOKE-N. Me LEAN'S edition 3) this papy- rus, which is one of the two oldest available witnesses for the Greek text of 2 Chronicles, offers the following variants: 2 Chr. xxix 32 cum - 33 1tev't'iXx6a?iX]om (e silentio) cum omnes-B* 34 cum omnes-B (but the peculiar form found here does not recur else- where) xxx 3 auv- The original reading of Pap. Barc. 3 might be adduced as support for a variant reading up till now only traced in the Syro-Hexaplar reading 4) However, in the Syriac 1) I don't understand what is the use of publishing scientific papers in the Cata- lan language.
