The sketch for the upper portion of the painting, Christ in the Winepress, is in a private collection under the name of Aert Ortkens, the drawings for the Seven Sacraments are, with one exception, in the Bremen Kunsthalle and there described as being the work of "a Dutch Master about 1525, apparently intended as designs for book illustrations". Another drawing in the Rijks Prentenkabinet at Amsterdam, the Angel appearing to Joachim, being a study for a church window, and associated with a small picture by Dirck Vellert (B. 8), is here attributed to the Master of the studies discussed above.
