There are two possible explana- tions for the corruption: (a) 6arLq, to be read in the 'corrected' argument in fine, spread from there to the paradox itself and to its explanation, pro- ducing the jarring ... xot potkoyiJy6q Eawv Ev 't4) To yap 5 ar t q ... , or (b) 6JIiq is a corruption (vulgarization) of ei Tes even in the 'corrected' argument in fine. In (ps.) Philoponus, it only ocurs in fine, in Elias also elsewhere. I see no definite argument in favour of one of these possibilities vs the other. But the text in (ps.) Philoponus looks like being an abbreviation 4) of the text in Elias, so perhaps 6a-cLq in fine is right.
