182 OMAN: THE PATENT LAW* THE MINISTRY OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY MINISTERIAL DECISION NO. 219/93 3 On the basis of the Unified Economic Agreement of the Gulf Co-operation Council Countries signed in Al-Riyadh on 15 Muharram 1402 AH, being 11 November 1981, In implementation of the decision of the Higher Council of the Gulf Co-operation Council Countries in its 13th session held in Abu Dhabi during the period between 21-22 December 1992 regarding Patent Law and the Patent Office's Regulations, On the grounds of what the public good dictates, The following has been decided: Article 1 The provisions of the GCC Patent Law shall be implemented. Article 2 The accompanying Implementing Regulations for the Patent Office of the GCC Countries shall be implemented. Article 3 The decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and be enforceable as of the date of publication.
