After almost ten years as Managing Editor of The Law and Practice of International Courts and Tribunals , I have decided to step down and move on to different projects. I have enjoyed tremendously this editorial adventure and I feel honoured to have contributed to start this Journal and watch it grow into a more and more successful publication. The Editor-in-Chief, Eduardo Valencia-Ospina, and I are particularly pleased that Professor Pierre Bodeau-Livinec has accepted to take on the role of Managing Editor. Before occupying his current position as professor of public international law at the University of Paris 8–Vincennes-Saint Denis in France, Professor Bodeau-Livinec has occupied many roles in the field of international law: member of the Office of the Legal Advisor at the UN, former member of the Secretariat of the International Law Commission, and practitioner before international courts and tribunals. I am confident that he will be a terrific addition to the Journal. It remains to me to thank Eduardo Valencia-Ospina and all the Members of the Editorial and Advisory Boards for their friendship and support throughout these years. I am also indebted to the Assistant Editor, Cheryl Dunn, who has been a constant and discrete presence since the beginning and whose hard work has been invaluable. I am delighted that she has decided to continue fulfilling the same role in the future.
