List of Contributors Christiana Abongeis a lecturer in the Department of Women and Gender Studies of the University of Buea; Cameroon. She holds a PhD from the University of Leeds, and is Gender Consultant and Trainer on gender responsive economic policy.Julián Castro Reais an associate professor in the Department of Political Science, University of Alberta. His main research interest is the politics of North America, both from comparative and trilateral perspectives; focusing on particular issues such as political ideologies (conservatism and nationalism), federalism, regionalism, indigenous peoples, elections, and foreign policy. He has written extensively on these topics in the three official languages of North America. He is also frequently present in electronic and printed media; in particular as a regular guest political analyst for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation-Société Radio-Canada.Christopher Chase-Dunnis Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Director of the Institute for Research on World-Systems at the University of California-Riverside. His research focuses on cities, empires, sociocultural evolution, and the causes and consequences of social movements in large-scale social change.Alfredo de la Lama Garciais a full professor at Metropolitan University, Iztapalapa (uam), México.
