It will welcome any relevant contribution to a better understanding of Grotius’s life and works. At the same time close attention will be paid to Grotius’s relevance for present-day thinking about world problems. Grotiana therefore intends to be a forum for exchanges concerning the philo- sophical, ethical and legal fundamentals of the search for an international order. At intervals thematic issues will be inserted. Th e preferred language for papers and reviews is English. Th e views expressed in any article are those of the individual author and do not necessarily represent the views of the Editorial Board/Committee. Grotiana is a refereed journal.
