Guidelines for Contributors The Cahiers de Linguistique - Asie Orientale publish original articles concerning the languages and linguistics of East Asia. Articles are published in English, French, German or Chinese. STYLE SHEET FOR MANUSCRIPTS : Contributors should send three copies (Din A4 size: 21x29.7 cm or letter size: 8.5'' x 11 ") of their manuscript, single-spaced and with all pages numbered. Manuscripts of more than 40 pages are likely to be published in several issues consecutively. On the first page, only the following information should be provided: full title of the manuscript; name; affiliation; current address (including E-mail address and/or facsimile number). Each article should be accompanied by an abstract in English of about 5-8 lines (not more than 100 words) plus another abstract (same size) in French. Each abstract should be followed by three to six key words among which the linguistic subdiscipline as well as the language(s) covered in the article are obligatory. The title should not exceed two lines and be translated into English as well as into French. Footnotes are numbered serially throughout the manuscript. Their number should be kept to a minimum and they should not be used for listing references.
