Gabriele Della Morte, Big Data e protezione internazionale dei diritti umani. Regole e conflitti,... 634 BIBLIOGRAPHIES From a methodological point of view, all the book’s contributions focus mainly on analysis of positive law, providing a careful and up-to-date treatment of a large body of law and practice, while at the same time proposing some de jure condendo solutions. The volume edited by Oanta is successful in convey- ing the idea that the international law of the sea is a particularly fluid and dy- namic area, “un escenario abierto” (SOb RINO h EREDIA, “La mar, un escenario abierto”, in Pu Ey O LOSA and u Rb INA (eds.), La cooperación internacional en la ordenación de los mares y océanos, Madrid, 2009, p. 25 ff.). Considering the topics discussed, leaving some room for methodological pluralism would have enriched the perspective of analysis, accounting for approaches to international law lying beyond the perimeter of positivism, such as TWAIL, the New Haven approach or critical legal studies. However, the volume is a valuable and recom- mended reading, addressing most of the new challenges of the international law of the sea. An easily readable and well documented volume, it offers thoughtful insights sparking further discussion for generalists and specialists alike. Abstract

SIMONE v Ezz ANI g Ab RIELE DELLA
