Editorial It is with great excitement and anticipation that I begin my tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Method & Theory in the Study of Religion (MTSR) with this issue, the very first one of Volume 25. I would like to express my gratitude to the interim editors, Russell McCutcheon and Willi Braun, for the excellent work they have done transitioning the journal over the past year. This is not the first time that they have stepped in to provide the intellectual and logistical leadership necessary for the successful production of this journal. On behalf of MTSR and its governing society, NAASR, I would thus like to thank both of them. I would be remiss, however, if I did not also acknowledge and give credit to Vaia Touna, a senior doctoral student at the University of Alberta and editorial assistant extraordinaire. I am pleased to announce that she will continue in this capacity under my editorship.
