EDITORIAL ANNOUNCEMENT David Foster is one of the founding editors of Spatial Vision and has been Editor-in- Chief for Europe, Africa, Asia, Japan, and Australasia since the Journal's inception in 1984. He has decided to relinquish his position as Editor-in-Chief, with effect from the end of 1996. We are very pleased to announce that Dov Sagi at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel has agreed to take over as Editor-in-Chief for Europe, Africa, Asia, Japan, and Australasia from 1997.
