Description of a New Species of Neodipara Erd. from Spain (Hym. Chalcidoidea, Pteromalidae) By KARL-JOHAN HEDQVIST The Royal College of Forestry, I04 05 Stockholm Among specimens of Chalcid flies collected by Dr. S. Erlandsson in Spain there is an in- teresting new species of the peculiar genus Neodipara Erd. Neodipara hispanica sp.n. Head, thorax and propodeum black with metallic lustre. Gaster brown, petiolus, all legs, mandibles and antennal scapus yellow. Hind tibia a little infuscate. The rest of antenna brownish. Fore wing with veins brown and below stigma an indistinct macula. Head subglobular with antennae inserted near the mouth. Antennae (fig. i A) with for- mula 11153, scapus long nearly as long as the rest of antenna, funicle joints transverse, clava large. Eyes large, subcircular with very fine, scattered hairs. Mandibles bidentate. Notauli complete and postspiracular sclerite small. Scutellum a little longer than broad. Head and thorax fine reticulated. Propodeum (fig. i E) smooth with a median sulcus. Spiracles small. Callus with two hairs. Nucha very short.
