CORRIGENDA TO GROSSFELD'S TARGUM BIBLIOGRAPHY BY C. M. L. VERDEGAAL Druten, Netherlands Bernard GROSSFELD's A Bibliography of Targum Literature I & II (Cincin- nati/New York, Hebrew Union College Press/Ktav, 1972-1977) has been very useful for targumic research. A disadvantage of this bibliography is that G. has not seen personally some of the publications. This is e.g. the case with no. 793 under the heading "Targum Translations". No. 793 runs as follows: SCIALAC, Victor. Libri justi Job, ex Chaldeo ... idiomate in Latinum nunc primum inter¢retati. Rome 1618. G. refers to WINER ( = G. B. WINER, The Grammar of the Chaldee Language as Contained in the Bible and the Targums, Andover, Mass./New York, 1845) as his secondary source. (I have not been able to check WINER regarding what he says about the translation by SCIALAC.) The complete title Of SCIALAC'S book runs as follows: Libri iusti lob ex Chaldaeo siae Syro idiomate in Latinum nunc primum interpretatio in totius Catholicae Ecclesiae utilitatem edita. A Victorio Scialac Ac- curensi Maronita e Monte Libano, Philosophiae, & Sacrae Theologiae professore, ac in Almo Urbis Gymnasio publico Arabicae linguae lectore. Romae, 1618, 167 pages and one unnumbered page with 'Errata, & Varias
