James A. Goldston is an attorney and served as a Senior Human Rights Officer. and Director General for Human Rights in the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1996. Dieeierik Lohman is the Moscow Office Director of Human Rights Watch/Helsinki. Colonel Jeffrey D. McCausland is a Senior Fellow at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Dr Martin Palous is Director of the Center for Theoretical Studies at the Charles University in Prague, as well as Chairman of the Czech Helsinki Committee. He is also an editor of Helsinki Monitor. Ed van Thijn is a former Dutch Minister of Home Affairs and Mayor of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
