Contributors CONTRIBUTORS Vahram Abadjian was involved in the diplomatic service of Armenia as Director of the International Organizations Department, MFA , and as Ambassador to the United Kingdom. He has served on various OSCE missions and with the Secretariat and is currently Deputy Head of the OSCE Office in Minsk. Christina Binder is Assistant Professor at the Department of International Law, University of Vienna. She participated as Short-Term Observer in election observation missions to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova (with the OSCE ) and Venezuela (with the EU ). Arie Bloed is Former Executive Director of the Constitutional and Legal Policy Institute ( COLPI ), Budapest and Editor-in-Chief of Security and Human Rights , formerly Helsinki Monitor . Marc Perrin de Brichambaut is the OSCE Secretary General since June 2005. As a former ambassador he held senior positions in the French administration as well as in international organizations. His most recent post, from 1998, was as Director for Strategic Affairs at the French Defence Ministry. Catherine Fearon was an Northern Ireland Women’s Coalition ( NIWC ) advisor and analyst on the Northern Ireland Peace Talks and in the first Northern Ireland Assembly. Currently she is working for the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Marcel de Haas is a Senior Research Fellow at the Netherlands Institute of International Relations ‘Clingendael’ in The Hague. Harm J. Hazewinkel retired in December 2004 from the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, having dealt for many years with the OSCE . He is editor of Security and Human Rights, formerly Helsinki Monitor . Kees Homan is a Senior Research Fellow at the Netherlands Institute of International Relations ‘Clingendael’ in The Hague, former Director of the Netherlands Defence College, and editor of Security and Human Rights , formerly Helsinki Monitor . Walter Kemp is Senior Advisor at the UN Office in Drugs and Crime and editor of Security and Human Rights , formerly Helsinki Monitor . Fabio Oliva is a P h. D . candidate at the Graduate Institute of International Studies ( HEI ) in Geneva, Switzerland.
