Book Reviews Book Reviews Kolb, Robert, Case Law on Equitable Maritime Delimitation/Jurisprudence sur les délimitations maritimes selon l’équité: Digest and Commentaries/Répertoire et commentaires ( Publications on Ocean Development , vol. 38) (Martinus Nijhoff, The Hague, 2003) xxiv + 561 pp. + index; ISBN: 9–04111–9760; €325; $325; £208 This somewhat unusual casebook provides a comprehensive coverage of cases on maritime delimitation decided before 2001. The book is unusual in two respects: it focuses on a very narrow area of law and it covers the case law in some considerable depth. The layout of the book is relatively simple which makes for ease of use. Each case is dissected individually and a basic template is used to present each one: the geographical context is set and a map or maps used to illustrate it, the court’s task is described, the particular features of the case are given followed by the submissions of the parties and the decision of the court or tri- bunal. Each decision is presented according to the specific issues to be decided, followed by the dispositif and individual opinions. Thereafter acade- mic commentary on the case is presented. Within each section a summary of the issues is provided followed http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png The International Journal of Marine and Coastal Law Brill
