Introduction Contemporary forms of terrorism3 seem to validate Kahn Freud's assertion that dark subconscious drives motivate men and women, that "both in healthy and in sick people psychical acts often occur which can be explained only by presupposing other acts, of which, nevertheless, consciousness affords no evidence."4 Terrorism is an evil that has inflicted unimaginable pain on mostly innocent civilians : LL.B.
