Maja Sobolevawas full professor at the Institute of Philosophy of the Alpen-Adria University, Klagenfurt-am-Woerthersee. She studied chemistry in St. Petersburg and philosophy in St. Petersburg, Erlangen and Marburg. She received a doctorate in chemistry in 1992, a doctorate in philosophy in 2000, and habilitated in philosophy in 2005. In 2008/09 she was a Mildred Miller Fort Visiting Scholar in European Studies at Columbus State University (usa). Since 2004 she has been a lecturer and research associate in the Philipps-University of Marburg (Germany). After she habilitated in philosophy in 2010, she was a Private Lecturer (Privat-Dozentin) in the Philipps-University. In 2013 she won a visiting fellowship in Russian and Eastern European studies from the Aleksanteri Institute in Helsinki (Finland). Her areas of specialization are epistemology, philosophy of language and history of philosophy.Michael Städtleris Adjunct Professor at the Philosophical Seminar of the University Münster. From 1991 to 1997, he studied Philosophy and German Literature at Hannover University. In 2002, he received a doctorate for a dissertation on ‘The freedom of reflection: Connections of theoretical and practical philosophy in Hegel, Thomas Aquinas, and Aristotle’. From 2003 to 2006, he was Assistant for Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law, Hannover University.
