ABOUT THE AUTHORS Richard Alapack received his M.A. and Ph.D. from Duquesne Univer- sity. Presently he serves as an associate professor at the University of St. Jerome's College, Waterloo, Ontario. His interests are in the life-span, from pre-birth to post-death. Currently he is focusing upon ways to study, phenomenologically, adolescent relationships and the transition from adolescence to adulthood. Andrew is an associate professor and Chairman of the Depart- ment of Psychology at the University of Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Professor Andrew's teaching and research emphasis has been centered on two areas not typically considered as compatible: research design and statistical analysis and Humanistic Psychology. Within Huma- nistic Psychology he has emphasized an existential-phenomenological methodology and is exploring the manner in which such an approach provides an alternative basis for the logic of experimental design.
