The selection of entries was based on the following principles: 1) the author's academic and/or political standing and 2) the relative importance of the topic or issue. ' Dr. Dennis of Wolverhampton Polytechnic covered economics, education, foreign affairs, history, law and criminology, occupational sciences and soci- ology, Party affairs and government, and sport. Dr. Watson of the University of Nottingham handled literature.. All journals and books included in this bibliography were published in Ber- li4 (GDR) unless otherwise stated. Date of publication is 1985.
