Th e nearest observation points ar e on Mt . Augustine (59.37°N , I53.47°W), a volcanic island located at th e southern end of Coo k Inlet, and llliamna (59.74°N, 154.91 °W) , located on th e wester n side of th e Aleutia n Range.
