25 ™ CONFERENCE O N HURRICANE S AND TROPICA L METEOROLOGY 2 9 APRIL- 3 MAY 2002 , HOLIDAY INN ON THE BAY, SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA SPONSORSHIP/ORGANIZER S The 25th Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology, sponsored by the American Meteorological Society and organized by the AMS Committee on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology, will be held 29 April-3 May 2002 at the Holiday Inn on the Bay, San Diego, CA. ACCOMMODATION S All meeting sessions for the conferences will be held at the Holiday Inn on the Bay, 1355 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92109 . A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel for meeting attendees at a special rate of $129 single or double occu- pancy, plus tax. Government rates are also available. To receive these special rates, attendees must request a room under the American Meteorological Society room block. Reservations must be made prior to 18 March and must be accompanied by a one- night deposit. Reservations made after that date will be on a space available basis. Subject to room availability, these special rates will be available the weekends before and after the conferences. We urge you to make reservations early since
