The Council met in Phoenix, Arizona, on 4 January and in Boston, Mas- sachusetts, on 17–18 September. Honorary Members 30 The Executive Committee met in Phoeni x, Fellows 670 Arizona, on 3 January; in Washington, D.C., on 7–8 Members 8,151 April; by teleconference on 9–10 July; and in Boston, Members with Student Privileges 274 Massachusetts, on 16 September. Associate Members, Voting 26 Associate Members, Nonvoting 868 ELECTION RESULTS —PRESIDENT-ELECT Associate Members, Precollege 123 AND NEW COUNCILORS Associate Members, K–12 Teacher 74 Student Members 2,492 President-Elect: Matthew J. Parker Corporation Members* 154 Councilors: Philip E. Ardanuy Total 12,862 Andrea J. Bleistein * Includes 10 Sustaining, 56 Regular, 12 Small James L. Kinter Business, and 76 Publications Sue Ellen Haupt * Nicole R iemer Election of Honorary Members. The Council elected Donald R. Johnson, Robert (Bob) Ryan, and Jagadish * In addition to those elected by the membership, Shukla as Honorary Members of the Society. the Council selected a “Fifth Councilor” as per Article VII of the Society’s Constitution.
